Blackfriars Playhouse
Blackfriars Playhouse is the world’s only theater created as a model of Shakespeare’s indoor theater. Open year-round featuring Shakespearean and Renaissance era dramas; this theater company has been called “shamelessly entertaining” by The Washington Post. The theater is wheelchair accessible and features a gift shop and snack bar. Located at 10 South Market Street in Staunton Virginia, The Blackfriars Playhouse is a visitor must-see!

Frontier Culture Museum
Located in nearby Staunton, Virginia, the Frontier Culture Museum recreates early pioneer life in the Shenandoah Valley through “living history” exhibits with costumed interpreters and reconstructed historic dwellings. The museum aims to show the different cultures and practices that shaped early American life in the valley.
