Our entrance is 200 feet West of the Blue Ridge Parkway on state route 814. You do not need to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway to access the property. The most scenic route is to take the Blue Ridge Parkway to Love Ridge but there is also an alternate state route for winter/foggy weather access.
Directions from Charlottesville/Richmond (approx. 45 minutes/1 hour 45 min.)
Take I-64 east and take exit 99 and make a right onto 250. In about 100 feet, turn right for the Blue Ridge Parkway. When you reach the parkway head south until you pass mile marker 16, then turn right onto 814 toward Sherando Lake. You are 200 feet from Love Ridge. Pass the church on your left and take the first available left onto Royal Oaks Trail. You have arrived at Love Ridge.
Take I-64 east and take exit 96. From the exit, it is 14 miles to Love Ridge. Although the road names change, you do not make any turns off of this road until you reach the driveway for Love Ridge. Travel south on 624 (South Delphine Avenue), toward Lyndhurst. Continue straight through Lyndhurst on 664 (no turns). After the sign for Lake Sherando continue straight on 814 past the Mennonite Church (do not turn left at the sign that says “Blue Ridge Parkway”). You’ll travel up a steep hill until you arrive at the little mountaintop hamlet of Love which is marked by an open area with a small number of houses. Once the road begins to climb again our property is located on the right side. If you pass the cemetery you’ve gone too far. entrance to the drive.

Take I-66 West to I-81 south toward Roanoke. Take exit 221 for 1-64 toward Richmond. Continue on I-64 until exit 99 and make a right onto 250.
