Love Ridge Reservatin Policies

Reservations & Payments

• Advance reservations are required for all accommodations. While we do our best to honor site or cabin preferences, specific units cannot be guaranteed. In rare cases, Love Ridge may adjust your assignment due to maintenance or emergency needs.
• A 50% deposit is required at booking, with the remaining balance charged 30 days before arrival.
  
• All reservations must have a credit card on file. This card may be used for final payments, damages, or replacement of lost or stolen property.
• All major credit cards are accepted.

Cancellation Policies 

• 14+ days before arrival: Refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
• 7–13 days before arrival: 50% refund.
• Less than 7 days: Non-refundable.

If we’re able to rebook your stay, you’ll be refunded the rebooked amount minus a 10% fee.
We highly recommend travel insurance, as refunds cannot be issued for illness, weather, or travel delays.

Check-In & Check-Out

Campsites, Cabins & Camp Rooms: Check-in after 4:00 PM; check-out by 10:00 AM.

Campsites: You’ll receive detailed check-in instructions by email two days before arrival. We strongly recommend arriving during daylight hours, especially for first-time guests.

Late Arrival

Due to limited lighting and steep, wooded roads, campers who have not set up before sunset may not drive directly to their site. Late arrivals must park near the camphouse and walk equipment to their campsite. Guests returning after dark may park at their site if they have already set up.

Occupancy & Age

• Occupancy limits are based on your confirmed reservation and include all guests, children, and dogs.
• The primary booking guest must be 21 years or older.
• Campsites are limited to one vehicle and typically one family (up to 4–6 guests) per site.

Pets

Love Ridge is proud to offer dog-friendly cabins and campsites.

• Dogs must be leashed outdoors and never left unattended outside.
• Limit two dogs per site or cabin.
• Dogs are not permitted in buildings such as the camphouse, restrooms, or camp rooms.
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up pet waste and any damages.
• Excessive barking or aggressive behavior may result in termination of stay.
• Cats are not permitted.

Campground-Specific Policies

Supported Equipment

Our campsites are primitive—designed for tent camping or car/van camping only. Pop-ups, RVs, and ATVs are not allowed.

Vehicles

One vehicle per site. Motorcycles are welcome but must observe quiet hours (10 PM–9 AM).

Quiet Hours

10 PM–7 AM across all accommodations (9 AM for campgrounds). Please respect your neighbors by keeping voices, music, and lighting low after hours.

Alcohol & Smoking

• Alcohol may be consumed only at your site or cabin by guests of legal age.
• Belligerent behavior or public intoxication will result in immediate removal.
• Smoking is not permitted indoors and only allowed at your site or cabin, away from open windows and doors. Dispose of butts properly—never in fire pits.

Campfires

Fires are permitted in designated areas and subject to weather restrictions. Always extinguish completely before leaving your site.

Children, Guests & Visitors

• Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.
• Visitors must register with Love Ridge upon arrival (call or text is sufficient).
• Extra vehicles may require a $10 parking fee.
• Love Ridge reserves the right to limit visitors or occupancy per site.

Parking

Each cabin includes two assigned parking spaces. Campers are limited to one vehicle per site; overflow parking is limited and first-come, first-served.

Camphouse Amenities

Restrooms and showers are open 24/7 and are family-style, single-use rooms. The shared kitchen is a premium amenity—access code provided with your confirmation email.

Trash & Recycling

No local pickup is available. Please deposit trash and recycling in the enclosed area near the grey shed by the main building. Do not leave waste outside your site or cabin.

Non-Admittance

Love Ridge reserves the right to refuse service to guests removed from other campgrounds or found in violation of property rules.

Please be aware we have no control over travel delays due to your health, flight delays, weather, or other reasons for not being able to keep your reservation.

Security & Damages

Guests are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Love Ridge may charge up to $3,000 to the card on file for damages. Report any issues immediately upon arrival.

Weather, Repairs & Access

If a mandatory evacuation is ordered by state or local officials, unused nights will be refunded.
We promptly address maintenance concerns; refunds are not issued for temporary outages. Staff may enter cabins or campsites as needed for repairs or safety.

Personal Items

Love Ridge is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Found belongings may be returned for a $25 handling fee plus shipping.

PARKING

Each cabin comes with two assigned parking spaces. Additional parking is limited and available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Legal & Liability

GOVERNING LAW/VENUE

The parties agree that this Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and that in the event of a dispute; any legal action may only be instituted in the county where Love Ridge Mountain Lodging is located. Neither party shall be entitled to attorney’s fees or costs regardless of who prevails should litigation occur between the parties.

50% deposit of total cost due at booking. Deposit required to make and hold a reservation. The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to the check-in date. See cancellation policy regarding when deposits are refundable.
